Rotary Web Services

Why Rotary?

Rotary is the world's first and oldest service organization. As such, Rotary spans the globe, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Each Rotary club is an independent organization of professionals, both men and women, who meet together to socialize, network, and combine their talents, resources and efforts to make the community around them a better place. As Rotarians, they are also members of Rotary International, and through their Rotary clubs and Districts, they contribute funds that provide medical, health, food and economic support to many impoverished and underdeveloped areas around the globe. Rotary's most profound effort is the current eradication of Polio virus from the world. This mission is so close to being finished. You can learn more at www.rotary.org.

But if you're a Rotarian, you knew all that already.

Rotary Web Services started when I (Eric Lewis) took on the task of providing a website for my club, in Montgomery, Alabama (www.sunriserotary.org.) From there, the tasks grew to include site development for the District (District 6880) and eventually registrar duties for the Heart of America Rotary Leadership Institute.

But you don't have to be a Rotary Club, or a Rotarian to qualify to use our services! If you are a individual, organization, small business, or even a multi-million dollar corporation, that wants to take advantage of Open Source Solutions, need someone to assist you in acquiring or managing an Open Source Service, or you just need some consulting on how to go about implementing an Open Source Solution, we're here for you. Don't be surprised though if we try to get you to go to a Rotary meeting once or twice!
